At Foxway, we continuously strive to enhance the value of trade-ins for both you and your customers. Our platform serves as the technical enabler for campaigns managed between you and device manufacturers. These campaigns are designed to increase the value of the device or the overall transaction, or sometimes both. This article explains how these campaigns work and the benefits they offer.
To set up a trade-in campaign, contact your account manager at Foxway at least 2 weeks before the planned launch of the campaign.
Campaign Setup
Campaigns are configured with specific clauses that apply to a selected range of trade-in devices, provided the customer purchases a new device. Your primary motivation is upselling. For example, if a customer brings in a phone worth €300 and receives an additional €150 through the campaign, they get a 50% value increase. This makes the new phone more affordable and allows the customer to consider higher-end models. For instance, if a new model costs €1,000 and the old phone has a residual value of €300, the customer might be reluctant to pay €700. However, with the campaign, the price drops to €550, which is more acceptable.
Trade-In as a Selling Tool
From your perspective, trade-ins are simply a selling tool. Campaigns add extra value to the device, making the offer more attractive to your customers. Our system is configured to manage these campaigns, and manufacturers often subsidize these campaigns from their marketing budgets.
Collaboration with Manufacturers
If you manage the campaign directly with the manufacturer, Foxway pays you only the residual value of the device, and you settle with the manufacturer. In setups where Foxway receives the funds from the manufacturer, we pay you upfront for the device plus the bonus and then claim the bonus back from the manufacturer.
By implementing these campaigns, we aim to provide better value for your customers and support you in your sales efforts. The added value from these campaigns not only makes trade-ins more appealing but also helps in driving higher sales and customer satisfaction.
