What do the status names mean in the Foxway retail tool?
Below is an overview of statuses in the Retail Tool and their meanings. The overview below describes the default setup for trade-in statuses. However, every vendor will work with their Technical Account Manager during onboarding to set up a custom configuration as needed. The detailed rules behind the statuses and how they are presented in the Foxway systems will be available from your Technical Account Manager.
Common Statuses (In-Store and Online Trade-In)
- Registered: The device is registered in the system.
- Packed: The device is packed and ready for shipment.
- Shipment Created: The packed device is included in a shipment.
- Shipped: The device is shipped and in transit to Foxway.
- Delivered: The device is delivered to the destination at Foxway.
- Expired: The trade-in process was not completed within the expected timeframe (the expiration period is configured for each vendor separately).
- Processed/Expired: The device has been processed, but the status has expired; the current price will be applied to the device instead of the trade-in creation time price.
- Reported: The device's status has been reported to the vendor.
- Invoiced: The device has been invoiced.
- Withheld: The device has been withheld due to issues (e.g. lost, damaged).
- Canceled: The trade-in process for the device has been canceled by the vendor.
- Processed: The device has been fully processed, and the trade-in is complete.
Additional Statuses for Online Trade-In
- Missing: The device is missing and will be investigated together with the vendor.
- Fraud: The device is flagged for fraud and will be investigated together with the vendor.
- Processed/On Hold: The device is processed but on hold due to a grading mismatch; the consumer will be asked to accept a new price offer and if it is declined, the device is sent back to the consumer.
- Processed/Confirmed: The device is processed and confirmed after a new price offer has been accepted by the consumer.
- Processed/Declined: The device is processed but declined as the consumer has declined a new price offer; the device is sent back to the consumer.
- Generic: A generic status for various conditions.
